This 1 Hour Program (HSW Credit Applies) will provide an overview of state & federal accessibility requirements, including new access standards & harmonization with federal laws, including the Revised ADA/ABA Accessibility Guidelines and the ADA Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG). Common problem application areas including exterior & interior accessible routes, accessible parking, options for vertical access & toilet and bathing facilities will be discussed. Alterations to existing buildings will also be covered.
